Whatnot Live Show 6:30pm Every Wednesday! Serving Bags for Breakfast

One of my New Year's resolutions for Bags for Breakfast was to not be afraid to do a live show on a social media platform. I have had feedback from a few people who I look up to that doing a live show online would be a great idea to incorporate into my boutique. I couldn't agree more but it seemed like such a huge hurdle to get over. I really wanted to challenge myself and do one, but was still a little apprehensive about doing one on Instagram. 

As fate would have it, I was introduced to Whatnot, a livestream marketplace with a dedicated category to ultra luxury designer handbags. It felt meant to be. I wanted to be proactive with signing up, became approved as a seller, and was ready to go. 

I waited nearly 2 weeks before I scheduled my first show and got over the anxiety of doing a live show, pulled myself together, and by the end of 2023 I had achieved my goal on doing a live show on a major platform.

Now that 2024 has arrived, I'm working on making my live shows a weekly recurrance! I'm still figuring out and experimenting with what time slot and what my style is! I can't wait to have a community on Whatnot, I already have people who I recognize when they pop into my show and I love chatting with everyone, it is such a supportive and helpful community. 

Moving forward with my live shows, my objective for the year would be to introduce 5 new handbags every month to my shop and to show off on my shows. 

I wanted to share this with everyone because I love sharing what is going on behind the scenes and the visions I have in my head and to put the ideas out there so that I can hold myself accountable for making it happen! 

One day when my live shows are consistent and I have a small audience, I would love to gain the courage to multicast across multiple platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube.
